About
Together We See (TWS) is a non-profit organization in the Greater Boston Area which provides a safe, focused, inclusive, and fun environment for students of all ages who are legally blind. Students participate in activities to improve their physical and mental health, and in activities to gain skills for daily life and future jobs. Transportation is provided.
Mission
The mission of TWS is to advocate diversity, equity and inclusion for visually
impaired population. TWS aims to reduce employment barriers by preparing
students with competitive skills for a future workforce. Additionally, TWS also
promotes physical and mental health among visually impaired students by
organizing activities in warm and inclusive environments so they become more
independent and feel more confident about themselves. Self-confidence and
self-advocacy are essential for being successful in the work environment.
